Charged With Possession: Cocaine Facts

Question: I self harm & carry a razor w/ me. if i was searched by police, would i be charged with possession of a weapon?

I have self- harmed (cutting) for years now, and I usually carry around a blade with me hidden amongst my possessions for 'emergencies'. It suddenly occurred to me the other day, If was to be searched by police for whatever reason, would I be charged with 'possession of a dangerous weapon'? I live in Australia if that makes any difference. P.s. Yes, I am in therapy.

If youre at school, then yes. but if youre not on school grounds or you didnt rob a bank....i think youre good. xD

You could be charged, so you need to be careful. Law's have recently became more strict with things like this, if you can, you should leave it at home. It's very good that you are in therapy! Well done for getting help with your self harm problem! xo

If you don't give police any reason to search you, you can walk around with all the sharp objects you want.

No they cant charge you with possession, unless you've turned into a shank lol just kidding its the same thing as carrying a pockt knife or a nail file, if you don't intend on using it as a weapon then you are golden. Its good that you are in therapy, you need to get to the root of why you feel the need to hurt yourself in the first place. I know stuff is hard, im on 4 different anxiety meds myself and i had a cutting phase, so im not judging and i know how it feels.im seeing a pshycologist regularly and feel better with almost every visit. stay true to yourself and remember how awesome you are and how important your life is on this earth. peace!
