Um, i need help with my cocaine addiction?

Question: Um, i need help with my cocaine addiction?

(Posted by: Taylor P on 2009-03-29 10:34:51)

I need motivation to stop snorting cocaine. Part of me knows that what I'm doing is killing me, but the other side of me never wants to stop. I'm 14 years old and I desperately want help before my addiction gets worse. I can't go to rehab because my parents do not know about my addiction and would kill me if they found out. So can anyone give me some helpful words to help me get on the path of sobering? Thanks for those who answer. please no rude or mean comments I'm just trying to get help. I know its my fault for even trying it in the first place

Be honest with your parents, the truth will let your parents realize you are growing up and that you need help.it takes a big person to admit a mistake and ask for help....good luck

Find something that replaces the cocaine, life sweets. Even if you have to eat sweets constantly and gain weight, thats ok! you can always lose the wieght later. Anything is better than an addiction. Im proud of you for admitting you have an addiction and wanting to give it up. good luck!!!!!

Well, you should tell your parents, it's better to tell the truth. You should probably get rid of all the cocaine you have, and, just try to avoid it whenever it comes around. If you do decide to tell your parents, then, you should ask to go to rehab. You could talk to a friend about it. Hope this helps.

Well, if it is people and peer pressure that is making you do this, just say no. And, the people who may sell you cocaine don't want to make you cool, they just want money from you. So, if you don't stop your parents will find out, simple as that. And, all you are doing is harming your own body and ruining your own life and if you want to live a long life, be succesfull, and be happy, just STOP. All you are doing is hurting yourself.

Go to tvshack.net then search 90210 and watch the end of episode seven, like the last 10 minutes or so. but DO NOT watch ANY other episodes after that. just the last like 10 mins of episode seven, called hollywood forever. good luck good luck good luck!!!!!!!!!! and if that doesn't work, maybe u should tell your parents before they find out from somebody else. <3 heart

Getting motivation to stop using is great, but it's not going to be enough to get you to stop. Cocaine is a very serious drug, and trying to quit on your own without any professional help, is a very dangerous thing to attempt. Reason for that is because your body has become used to the drug, and once you start not using the drug, your body is going to go through withdrawals because you are not supplying it with what it's used to getting. You cannot handle these withdrawal symptoms alone, you need to get help. I know this is not what you want to hear, but it's true. You will only be hurting yourself more if you do not go about quitting the right way. Take a look at this site, substanceabuse.com/ drug-abuse-treatment.php?utm_source= ans &utm_medium= pv &utm_content= ld &utm_campaign= rcx, and on there you will find a lot of useful information that I think will help you understand what's going on with your addiction. And, there also is a toll-free helpline which I think you should call and speak to a trained professional who will be able to point you in the right direction, and will let you know what steps you need to be taking. Good luck to you, and please get help, don't worry so much about your parents, you'd be surprised how supportive they probably would be. You're their child, they don't want anything bad to happen to you, they would be supportive and would most likely help you in any way that they could.
