You're the only one that can answer that. You are uniek and no statistics apply. If you make up your mind to kick the habit, do it and live a long and happy life. If you don't kick it, you'll never know what life is all about. |

Yes definately, but you won't be able to be around people who do it. I used to be addicted to amphetamines for about 5 years I took it everyday and I thought I could not live without it, then one day I just packed it in At the same time my 'then' partner had a crack problem a bad problem he wouldn't get out of bed until he had a stone, and he was just smoking it all day long and he's fine now and even if one of his mates has one he might have a pipe but he's alright the day after, but that's him, i'm not saying have it now and again, your better without it full stop. Just stay positive and strong you can do it, you'll probably find you will turn to something I started drinking really heavily, I have cut that down a bit now, but I felt that I had to be doing something.xx Good Luck |

Crack addiction is one of the hardest habits to break. If the person has been on the drug a long time, has a biological susceptibility to addiction or mental health issues, then a relapse is likely. Once one discovers one's partner or family member's addiction, one wants to know what his or her chances of recovery are. While the answers remain inconclusive, with hard work and support, crack addicts can be cured. However, they need to be self-motivated to quit. They must analyze the deeper reasons why they became an addict. Most importantly, they must take steps to change their lifestyle patterns. With time they live a normal life. |

I Don't care what statistics say my friend,I live my life the way I chose it,and do you know what,my life is not the easiest,my girlfriend died in the car accident,I've been cheated by one guy and I lost everything what I had, slept in the car for two and a half month, many times had nerves breakdown, and now I'm again on the edge of loosing my house and everything I earned in 5 years. I have arrived from Lithuania to UK 5 years ago,and now I'm more positive as I have ever been before. I have changed my thinking, before I was running from problems, now I meet them and deal with them. Jesus once said "nothing is impossible if you believe " and the only thing that can stop you from having a new life IS NOT STATISTICS- BUT YOUR UNBELIEF who do you trust?,statistics or God, who says that nothing is impossible! As for me my friend, I have chosen to believe what Creator of the Universe says. On the other hand I have made a decision how I'm going to live my life. I did set a goal, and I'm going to achieve it what ever it takes, and I don't care what other people might say about me,the most important thing for me now is- to achieve my goal, and to have a life that I have always dreamed of. As for you my friend,I know that you have a dream in your hart, and I want to tell you that what ever you have in your hart-IT IS POSSIBLE TO ACHIEVE IT,if you will believe to it. Check out my blog " thepowerofselftalkandpositivethinking.com " I've got free ebooks for you, just come and get them. It will help you to have a right mindset and then, you will be confident and know what you are doing and where you are going. Because today so many people, they don't know where they are going, and what they want to achieve in life. So,good Luck, and live a life of your dreams! |

You'll certainly have a much better chance at a happy normal life than you would doing drugs. It depends on taking action. prescription drug addiction can be a huge problem. Crack is one of the worst, but many people have stayed sober and gone on to have insanely successful/ happy lives afterward. Find a good sponsor and listen to him! |
