There is nothing you can do to reverse the effects of either medication without being at a hospital. I would have her drink alot (anything.. *non alcoholic*) -- This will speed up the elimination (by some small part) of the drugs in her system. Cocaine has a much shorter half life than that of Xanax, so I assume she is 'done' with the cocaine? If she is continually doing the cocaine, well not much you can do. Cocaine is a very powerful stimulant which can cause myocardial infarction.. (heart attack) , and you never know when you are susceptible. I have seen many a teenager, 20's, and young to mid 30's come in with MI in which cocaine was the trigger. It can also cause psychosis with no predictable signs to warn one it is going to occur. However the alprazolam is actually beneficial in this regard. Two and a half milligrams of Xanax , while a large single dosage, isn't a typical dose that causes enough CNS depression to over dose. Though uppers and downers are utter hell on the body. Just watch her, keep her awake at least 3-4 hours after she last took the xanax (which the cocaine should do for you) - and if she will allow take her pulse, watch her breathing pattern (how many breaths she takes in, in 60 seconds). It should fall in the range of 12-20. You doubtfully have any medical equipment, ie: something to take her BP with, so just use your common sense. Good luck, |
