Question: How often do you have to use cocaine to see serious effects orally?

I am close to someone who says they have not used cocaine in three years. he is only 30 yrs old and he is losing his teeth, six of his back teeth and one front one is beginning to erode now. he brushes his teeth regularly and i think he must still be using because in the past 3 yrs his teeth have gotten significantly worse, yet he refuses to see a dentist, which puzzles me? anyone have some insight.

Hi Sarah, There are many reasons for people to have bad teeth. These include low calcium levels, family history of dental problems, and congenital dental problems. I do not have a reason for him not wanting to see a dentist but I feel that your assumption is unreasonable too.
