Im embarassed to say i did cocaine 3 days ago at a party and i did quite a bit of it, now i have been feeling depressed, anxierty, nervous, restlessness, my perception is clouded, i have a bad feeling in the pit of my stomach, im scared i will never feel normal again, i have a bit of a tingling sensation in my head, feeling a bit hopeless, its hard to explane but im just not feeling like myself and its been 3 days. Im scared im gonna be like this forever.... my plan was to wait a week if it didnt go away i was going to go to the hospital and tell them about it. Im embarrassed to tell my friends, family, and girlfriend. All i have been doing is sleeping to try to get rid of this awful state and feeling im in. I hope im not messed up for good... has anyone has experience with this? do you know if it will go away?????? please take this seriously and give me your advice... Thank you very much for taking the time to help me!!!!!! |

It sounds to me like your cocaine high passed and now your going through withdrawal. Withdrawal can cause depression, which is probably what is making you want to sleep so much to get it to go away. Anxiety is also another symptom and is probably causing your nervousness and your restlessness. The cloudy perception is most likely from using, or again feeling depressed and anxious. It seems like you're going through the stages of withdrawal and that it will pass. If it doesn't, I'd say go through with your plan to visit the hospital or your doctor and tell them about it. Left untreated, depression and anxiety can turn into massively destructive things in themselves. |

Well, in small cases which is not very common, but you could have taken too much to the point that you experienced a small overdose, in this case, the lasting effects of that could last up to a week, but it sounds like to me like you are over thinking the situation, I think you are having anxiety and panic attacks. Usually Cocaine wont mess you up that bad on your first usage. Try to calm down, and maybe telling someone will make you feel better, (your anxiety may be caused by guilt) If you aren't feeling better by tomorrow, you should go to the ER and get checked. I AM NOT TRYING TO FREAK YOU OUT... so whatever you decide to do, remember to BREATHE. :) GOOD LUCK! ! And DON'T do drugs again! |
