Cocaine: Cocaine Facts

Question: Does anyone know from personal experience if cocaine interferes with birth control pills?

I take ortho tri cyclen lo. Two weeks ago I did a line of cocaine, and had sex four days later. I know, it's disgusting and I messed up and will never do it again. I asked a pharmacist whether the coke would make the pill less effective and she said she didn't think so, but that there was no proven studies on whether it would. So I'm just asking if anyone knows for sure if it will make birth control pills less effective. I'm too embarrassed to ask my doctor

Hi, I'm really sorry but I have absolutely no idea. I would suggest you find the number of your local pharmacy and ask the pharmacist over the phone- they should be able to tell you without you having to disclose your identity. good luck
