Question: I am 16 years old, can i get a heart attack from exercising i used cocaine moderately for 2 years and...?

I am 16 and when i excersize my heart beat is irregularily high and i have occasional chest pain. i used cocaine moderately for 2 years and have been sober for 2 months. i have a fear of a heart attack/ stroke/ something else. it is probably extremely irrational but i would just like to be sure

You should talk to a doctor about it; they can't get you "in trouble " for doing coke, or any drug for that matter. It's not their job. :) Good luck!!

You may be getting an acute long term reaction that is usually associated with cocaine use. your heart is no longer used to having a naturally high heart rate so when it does happen you may either have a heart attack or a stroke. either way you run a large risk of dying.

If you abused cocaine for two years it is a possibility, especially if you are experiencing an irregular heartbeat and chest pains. I would A) make an appointment with a doctor to get your heart checked out B) Give your body more time to heal before doing strenuous exercise.

Strange thing about Coke is that it hits the body like a freight-train. That is why we like it. But, yeah, it comes with a cost. But, moderate use is what? on the weekends? A couple of lines on the weekend is like donuts. They are not good for you and can give you a Heart attack for sure. But, if you get jacked up to the nosebleed status then, you are wearing out your welcome on this planet. But, you could trip and fall in front of a train fool. Most, of the crap we worry about never happens anyway. Pfft! doing coke at 14 what??? You got the life kid. I bet you bragged you fool head off about this coke... But, yeah if it kills you then you weren't meant to last anyway Right? Sounds like you got a weak immune system.
