Are there obvious signs? I talked to a friend today I haven't seen in a long time. He was deeply sniffing his nose from time to time. Could he be doing coke or meth? he seemed depressed too. First thing he asked me was "How's life. " I'm worried. What can I do?

Well drug users tend to be jittery or distracted a lot and they also have signs of tiredness like dark circles under their eyes. Weight loss is also an indicator of heavy drug use, but that really doesn't mean too much in smaller cases. As long as he wasn't sniffing something when he deeply inhaled, then I doubt he's using. Nose bleeds are also common in drug inhalers along with brush or burn marks around and in the nose from quick inhalation of grainy substances. I doubt it, some people may be going through a personality change or a rough time, so you should talk to him more and see who he's hanging out with and if his free-time is spent wisely. I hope you find out soon!

I was hanging with a guy who was doing cocaine, he doesn't sniff all the time, he has a couple strong snore after he did it so that he can get the rest into the system, but shouldn't be sniffing all the time,,,if he does cocaine his sign should be obvious,,he maybe just sick and if I am sick i may look depress too
