Question: Is cocaine really addictive?

I want to try cocaine at least once, and maybe actually use it occasionally, but not ALL the time. I dont think I would even want to snort it, just put some on my finger and lick it. It is always talked about how addictive it is and stuff, but is it addictive no matter what? If I go in with the mindset "I'm not getting addictive I know I will want to do it a lot but I wont " will it get to that point? hellppp

Anytime you do something like that with the thought "i wont get addicted " you will. because you will say this is good, and try it again, and again. and before you know you are hooked. yes its very easy to get addicted to. any mind altering drug is. so my advice, unless you want to become a crack head, then stay away. also, it can kill you easy. especially if you are not used to drugs. its not something to take lightly. you need to steer clear of it. i started drugs when i was very young, and i have been clean for 5 years and let me tell you, getting clean was the hardest thing i ever had to go through. the withdraws were awful. i felt like dying! imagine the flu, but ten times worse! and even though i havent done anything in 5 years, i still crave it! some times are worse then others, but its something i wish i would have never put myself through. i know i will never go down that road again, but its so hard for to even take something for my slipped disc, because im terrified of getting hooked and its something i have craved. i will always be a drug addict (doing the stuff or not, cause once an addict, always an addict), because i can get hooked again so easily. for the rest of my life, i will be a considered a recovering drug addict. trust me, its not a road you want to go down. theres so much more ways to have fun and feel good also let me add, i do have permanent damage because of it. i cannot concentrate as easily as others, i cannot remember things as easily as others.

It's pretty addictive. Some people can do things just once and then not do them again. Do you have an addictive personality? If you play tons of video games, watch tongs of tv or drink coffee everyday you probobly have some sort of addictive personality and so I would suggest not trying it. Seriously dude, you don't want to get addicted to a chemical substance.

Cocaine is addictive. Reason? Because that will be THE BEST high you will ever get. But doing it once or twice doesnt make u an addict. Just try to keep it in limit. Too much cocaine -- > Nose bleeding --- > death .. so know your limits. ;) Enjoy

Terribly. People have thrown away careers and millions of dollars for it. Even if you get off of it, it causes long term damage to the heart that can never be undone. Everyone who becomes and addict starts off just like you. They always say they can just do it now and then and then before they know... they are hooked.

You can be addictive to anything even to the smallest things like ice cream or candy for an example you can say you will not be addicted but once you try it and you like it are you really going to stop? nope cocaine and any drug even over the counter is addictive if you go on youtube or you can google and type intervention you can see how addicts went from collage graduates to drug addicts and prostitutes just to get drugs it sounds fun and games and yeah I think anyone wants to do something daring like these types of things and have something to Talk about but in the end it is you who is hurting not anyone but you Im not trying to talk you out of it because in the end is your choice and your life and your body you can do what you want with it but I am giving you facts base on these things

Well yeah it is very addictive, but your not going to be dependent on it the first time unless your doing it everyday.BTW, you'd have to lick a lot of that shit to get anything but numb.Your really not missing much,
