Question: How much cocaine use would cause a perforated septum?

I've never considered myself an "addict " per say but for the past few weeks my inner nose has been hurting very much and consistently bleeding (which has NEVER happened before). I'm worried that I have a hole in my septum now but I'm confused because I don't do blow that that often. Granted I started using when I was 14 and now I'm in college but as I said I don't think I use often enough to have a hole in my nose! How often do you have to do it to get a perforated septum or is my never ending nose bleed most likely some other underlying condition?

It depends on what is used to cut the drug. If the cut is particularly caustic, then it wouldn't take much exposure. Further, I encourage you to take a look at your behavior, because this is one of those "signs " that people ignore and later say, "why didn't I see that? " You need to stop using cocaine.
