Question: How do you get someone help with a drug addiction?

Hello! Someone very close to me, who is bipolar with other mental disabilities, etc... is addicted (mentally, not physically) to marijuana, hes generally ok if he has it, but once or twice a year he flips out & breaks something huge & important, SHITS IN THE LIVINGROOM (theres no toilet in there), attacks the household pets, burns most of his most loved stuff, says hes going to shoot himself & that he hates everyone, & this time around smashed up the living room & took an axe to the new grill for no reason other than be a jackass & because he doesnt have any for a few days. he has a caseworker for his mental problems (which were brought on by the stress of being home- ridden due to a serious back injury sustained on the job & his inability to provide income) he has done something like this several times & this is his second or third time in a mental facility for psyche evaluation but he called & said he will be out & for everyone to be ready. HOW can you help someone like this that cant help himself? simple incarceration for 4- 6 weeks in a drug free environment would fix this & hes been saying for a long time that he wants to quit, but then never follows through. P.S. I fu*king kid you not, he has SHIT IN THE F*ING LIVINGROOM & IN OUR SHOES BEFORE JUST TO BE AN ASS!!!! this is not a joke it sounds funny but its not living with his poopin- smashin- ass. |
