My dad died, because of a heroin addiction. he had an overdose i don't know much about the topic, and ive researched a little, but i cant really grasp the full picture, i was wondering if anyone could tell me what happens, in a heroin overdose, i saw a horrible picture of a drug overdose victim(r.i.p), her body was red and blue and white. please, give me some idea, i want to know what happened, etc. i don't really know exactly. what would his body have done, are you in pain, what exactly happens? if anyone knows anything then please, give me some sort of idea. thank you x

My unlce died from an overdose. And I learned about 9 years ago after his death. Heroin overdose usually kills people because they stop breatheing all together. Which is what Heroin does. Slows breathing and makes everything more peaceful, Your body moves slower all together. So basically a heroin overdose is somebody going to sleep forever and never waking up. Pretty peaceful way to die if you ask me but whats sad is these people don't know there life is over once they shoot up. Most Heroin overdoses happen not because of the ammount taken but since Heroin is illegal the drug content when made isn't always low. So even a low ammount injected can be too much. Sadly
