Heroin is known for being super addictive and the withdrawals to be unbearable. what is the process of kicking this horrendous addiction.

To kick the addiction yourself is nearly impossible. You will go through painful withdrawals. This is caused because heroin produces an effect that is the same as your natural pain killers in your body. The more heroin you take, the less of this hormone your body will produce. Pretty soon the only "pain killer " your body will be getting is from the heroin. Believe it or not, your body will be under intense pain once the heroin wears off enough-without your body producing its own pain killer you will be feeling extreme pain. Methadone is a drug that doctors prescribe for the addiction of heroin. This will help with the withdrawal symptoms. Talk to a doctor and they may put you under supervision during the withdrawal process.
