*Sigh* ok so here's a rant. Sorry. Those dispensaries are for medical marijuana patients, most of them who legitimately are helped from its many positive effects. There are some of us, myself included, that use pot to control extreme pain from a wide array of diseases. But its not only with pain that pot can help with health problems like Alzheimer's disease, aids, fibromyolgia, MS, and many other medical problems are treatable with marijuana. In addition to the benefits, please let us not forget the harm that the marijuana is NOT doing to the patient, where as many prescription drugs are devastating to the body, yet we still take them. Secondly, ohhhhh nooo! There's smoke coming from your neighbors house?!?!? sorry, but get a hold of yourself, they aren't hurting ANYONE, not even themselves. Before you complain about things, please have some idea of the harm that is being done before you decide to do so. As far as drivers smoking while driving, I honestly and personally would never drive high. I find driving high to be against my personal values. Do I have the same problem with that as I do with people driving drunk? Hell no, I know many people who drive BETTER when they are high. Drunk drivers are just scary. Please, if you are interested in educating yourself, watch a video (you can find it on google videos) called The Union: The business behind getting high. *steps off her soap box* |

I think so. Seems like there's more demand than ever. |

I don't think so. People will find a way to smoke it if they want to. Personally I have no issue with pot as long as it's in moderation, much like alcohol. |

I think the majority of new users would have smoked it anyway. The real impact will be having less "non-criminals " in jail and freeing up the courts to deal with more serious cases. I am sure your neighbors smoked long before it was legal. Now they just don't have to hide it. Funny how concerned we get with our neighbors. Especially their lawns. I mean grass.... |

They are *medical* dispensaries, you have to have a prescription. And guess what? Your local pharmacy sold thc before the dispensaries showed up, so...... As far as smoking while driving... marijuana should still be listed under the dui laws. If it is, call the cops. However, you should know that several studies have found that people who are under the influence of thc drive just as well as someone who is sober, and FAR better than people who have been drinking but are still under the legal driving limit - So the pot smoking drivers are safer than the legal drunk drivers. If it is coming from the neighbors, there isnt much you can do about that unless you share air lines (like the heating/ air conditioning system). But by the point it gets to you, there is no active thc left in it, so you are really *only* getting the smell. |

If you don't believe in medicinal marijuana watch this video. it will change the way you look at it. There is no denying the validity of medicinal marijuana after you see this interview with greg cooper, a man with multiple sclerosis |

My god. YOU ARE THE MOST IGNORANT PERSON. go smoke some marihuana. you'll feel better, and probably get what all the hype is about. people do illegal things, and i'm sure are aware of the consequences. they aren't hurting anyone but them selfs, and they have that choice |
