Creates a black market to profit off of Convictees are clogging up our prison systems Lack of tax revenue from NOT selling it - enforcing it is a HUGE loss. It cuts off our tolerance to renewable resources, such as the male hemp plant, which could be used to produce paper, food, fuel, plastic, clothing, insulatoin, and many other things. By looking down upon the female marijuana plant - we look down on hemp. It takes a hemp tree about 6-12 months in the wild to grow to be huge. It can completely be used for paper. It takes a tree HOW MANY years to grow? We're contributing to pollution just by not growing hemp as paper and cutting down trees in replacement. You get ignorant people who think a hit of marijuana is equal to shooting heroin into your arm - lack of education. Lack of medicine - Marijuana is a great somniac, pain reliever, and anti-anxiety.
